After 21 years of service in the Air Force, kids grown, retirement not an option - Capital Propane Exchange became our next adventure. We want you to know who we are and why we are so passionate about our company, our staff and our customers. The simple reason - Your business matters to us!

Our promise of commitment is short and sweet. We are committed to our customers 24 hours a day - 365 days a year... period!

No customer is too big or too small! We are experts in cylinder exchange, providing you with more than enough tanks to ensure you never run out. as an industrial customer, you will never compete with residential customers for service or deliveries because propane cylinder exchange is our only business. You are, and ALWAYS will be, our top priority!

Management Team

Our Owner / Operator team is a team outside of the office as well.

Curtis Johnston

Curtis proudly served twenty-one years in the USAF as a fighter pilot, flying the A-10 and the F-16. He served 36 hours straight as a squadron commander during the September 11 attacks, a day that none of us will ever forget. He was deployed to the Middle East; has flown many combat missions; and has served on the joint staff stationed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In addition, throughout his over two decades of service, he has been stationed in South Korea, Germany and the United States. Make sure you ask how he was given the call sign "Chewy" - it's a story best told by him.
